Midsummer Henge

Midsummer Henge Haugh Park, Cupar Saturday 23 June 2018 2 – 4 pm FREE EVENT   Celebrate midsummer by the side of the EDEN. Seven community collage panels created during Cupar Arts EDEN events at the Corn Exchange will be displayed to create a henge amongst the trees. Music at the bandstand from the The Muchty Musicmakers. Artwork along the river railings and a Recycled Tree by Cupar’s Plastic Reduction Group.

Tom Beaver and The Tarviteers

Cupar singer-songwriter Tom Beaver teams up with musicians from the Moonzie Allstars ‘The Tarviteers’. Support from Billy Caulfield and Pip Dylan from Raeburn Heights play a selection of country, rockabilly and classic song. A Conversation with David Mach and Rab Noakes

Life, Art, Music and Poetry. An evening to preview David Mach’s latest collage work followed by a conversation between David Mach and Rab Noakes on life, art, poetry and music.  Plus, a musical performance by Rab Noakes. Raised only a few miles apart from each other, they will relate their different experiences growing up and how that has affected each of their creative endeavours. Bar available. David Mach Collages

Internationally renowned Scottish artist and Turner Prize nominee David Mach will exhibit around 100 small collages, approx. 7 by 5 inches each. David has been working on these pieces for some time now and in recent months has struck a rich vein of ideas covering a plethora of subjects using comic material from D.C.Thomson, Dundee. “It’s no surprise that the Eden flows through Cupar and that will be one of the themes I investigate. Under New Management

Cupar Arts would like to announce that our organisation is now running under a brand new committee and board of trustees! After 5 years of successful festivals in Cupar, the board of trustees and committee felt it was time for a change, making the decision to step down at the AGM in January 2017.
