2019 – EDEN

In 2019, we exhibited work by artist Celie Byrne along with Phill Jupitus and Mike Middleton’s satirical “Wulfgar the Bard”. National Lottery Funding supported the creation of a bespoke stage and interactive sound room – “Skelf” by local artists Mark Small and Carl Smyth.

As part of our EDEN event, we collaborated with local shops, businesses and community groups to showcase local artists in an Arts Trail, mapped around town. We featured artworks by Cupar Art Club beside the river Eden in the Haugh Park. We also staged Henge in the Park for a second time. Through this community participation project, we created a series of panels to celebrate midsummer. These are now on display in the Corn Exchange.

Cupar Arts EDEN 2019 took place from June 15 to June 23, 2019, using the Cupar Corn Exchange as its central arts hub.
