In BeTween UncerTainty
Jacqueline Bulnes and her company Twistinkers return to Cupar Arts Festival with an interactive dance piece titled ‘In BeTween UncerTainty’, which will be performed at the Bandstand in the Haugh Park. Previously, they presented ‘Don’t walk, WALK’ in 2013. Their new project is inspired by the Greek god Hermes, bringer of dreams, guide of souls to the underworld, and master of ‘in-between’, liminal spaces. ‘In BeTween UncerTainty’ explores these spaces, combining the ancient universe of Hermes with a parallel universe ruled by social media and technology.
Jacqueline has danced as a soloist with the Martha Graham Dance Company and the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Her choreography credits include ‘I’m Not Through’, a music video for the band OK GO, and ‘Labyrinth Tales’ for the Quirinetta Theatre in Italy.
